On Tuesday, 1 November 2022, at night at 2:43, in Zarasų district municipality, Ilgašilio village, on the Dusetos–Antazavė–Kumpuoliai regional road (kilometre 3.71), a Volkswagen Passat rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (14 years of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs. He was drunk (1.53‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
