On Wednesday, 2 November 2022, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on 9-ojo Forto street, at the junction with Maironiškių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 520D and a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
