On Monday, 7 November 2022, in the afternoon at 15:55, in Biržų district municipality, Nariškių village, on the Pasvalys–Vabalninkas regional road (kilometre 22.25), a Toyota Avensis registered in Latvia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
