On Thursday, 10 November 2022, in the evening at 21:35, in Utenos district municipality, on Taikos street near No. 13, an Audi A4 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (12 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.63‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
