On Thursday, 17 November 2022, in the evening at around 21:00, in Vilniaus district municipality, on Vilniaus street near No. 5, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Berlingo and an Audi A6 Allroad Quattro. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Citroen, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
