On Monday, 21 November 2022, in the evening at around 18:00, in Prienų district municipality, Tartupio village, on Marijampolės pl. near No. 23, a collision occurred. The collision involved a horse-drawn cart and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 51-year-old cart driver, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.45‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
