On Friday, 2 December 2022, in the morning at 7:30, in Kaunas, on Šilainių pl., at the junction with Baltų pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla and a Volvo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Toyota (25 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
