On Monday, 5 December 2022, in the evening at 19:45, in Panevėžio district municipality, Bedrių farmstead, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 114), a Scania R 480 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Scania (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was snowing, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
