On Saturday, 10 December 2022, in the evening at 18:09, in Plungės district municipality, on J. Tumo-Vaižganto street, at the junction with Dariaus ir Girėno street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
