On Friday, 9 December 2022, in the afternoon at 14:15, in Šilutės district municipality, Balčių village, on Medžiotojų street near No. 2, a MTZ 50L ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the MTZ, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.95‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
