On Saturday, 17 December 2022, in the afternoon at 16:05, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Plungė–Vėžaičiai national road (kilometre 27.40), a BMW 3ER Reihe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene.
