On Friday, 23 December 2022, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Vilnius, on Sklandytojų street, at the junction with Eišiškių pl., a collision occurred. The collision involved a DAF and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the DAF (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
