On Friday, 23 December 2022, in the evening at 17:20, in Kaunas, on V. Kuzmos street near No. 6, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Subaru. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
