On Friday, 23 December 2022, in the evening at 17:35, in Vilnius, on Didlaukio street near No. 80A, at the junction with Baltupio street, a Toyota Yaris hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 33-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Toyota (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
