On Tuesday, 13 December 2022, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Ateities pl. near No. 30B, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Krone -, a Volvo FH and a Peugeot Boxer. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Volvo (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
