On Saturday, 31 December 2022, at night at 0:35, in Kaunas, on Lakūnų pl., at the junction with Gatvė "B" street, a Porsche Cayenne Diesel ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Porsche (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
