Unlicensed BMW driver hits a parked BMW and flees on Saulės g., Kaunas
On Friday, 13 January 2023, in the evening at 18:30, in Kaunas, on Saulės street near No. 35, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a BMW 3ER Reihe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
