On Friday, 20 January 2023, in the morning at 8:55, in Vilnius, on Rudaminos street near No. 6, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Toyota Corolla registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
