On Thursday, 2 February 2023, in the afternoon at 11:45, in Kaunas, on Islandijos pl. near No. 91, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Skoda Superb. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Opel (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
