On Saturday, 4 February 2023, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Vandžiogalos pl., at the junction with Vytėnų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a car, a BMW, a Volkswagen Passat and a Skoda Octavia. One person was injured — the 49-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of a car (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
