On Sunday, 12 February 2023, in the evening at 17:23, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street near No. 3, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. A 65-year-old passenger of the Opel was drunk (1.68‰). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
