Two people were injured — a 34-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, treated as an outpatient) and a 39-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (14 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
