On Thursday, 23 February 2023, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kelmės district municipality, on Vytauto Didžiojo street near No. 82, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW X5 3.0D registered in Sweden and a Renault Espace. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
