On Sunday, 26 February 2023, in the morning at around 7:00, in Vilnius, on Dūmų street near No. 3, an Opel Astra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.20‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
