On Thursday, 2 March 2023, in the evening at 19:10, in Panevėžio district municipality, Dembavos village, on Pajuosčio pl., at the junction with Guobų street, a Peugeot 306 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.66‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
