Hit-and-run Mini driver in crash with another car on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Saturday, 4 March 2023, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Rietavo municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 253.50), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mini and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Mini (14 years of driving experience), who failed to comply with road signs or markings. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident a strong wind was blowing, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
