On Thursday, 9 March 2023, in the afternoon at 13:32, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr. near No. 49A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Juke and a BMW 318d. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the Nissan (40 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
