On Saturday, 11 March 2023, in the afternoon at 14:35, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Mažeikiai–Plungė–Tauragė national road (kilometre 10.40), a BMW 520D registered in Finland rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
