On Saturday, 11 March 2023, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Vilnius, on Dūkštų street near No. 28, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat Variant and a Toyota Prius. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.62‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, it was raining, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
