On Monday, 3 April 2023, in the morning at 6:44, in Vilnius, on Konstitucijos pr., at the junction with Kalvarijų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Dacia and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the Dacia (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
