On Monday, 3 April 2023, in the afternoon at 14:38, in Kauno city municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 1.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW, a DAF FT XF105.410, a Fiat and a Schmitz S.KO 24/L-13.4FP60COOL. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She fled the scene. All drivers were sober.
