On Monday, 6 March 2023, in the evening at 17:40, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr. near No. 33, a BMW 530 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 79-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (13 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
