On Wednesday, 5 April 2023, in the afternoon at 13:11, in Vilnius, on Kalvarijų street near No. 98, a Skoda Octavia hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 81-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Skoda (25 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
