On Tuesday, 11 April 2023, at night at 4:42, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zapyškis–Šakiai national road (kilometre 15), a BMW 730 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
