On Friday, 28 April 2023, in the evening at around 18:00, in Tauragės district municipality, Pagramančio town, on Juozo Mažeikos street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Ford Galaxy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Opel (16 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (1.73‰ blood alcohol). The 30-year-old driver of the Ford had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
