On Wednesday, 3 May 2023, in the evening at 22:41, in Trakų district municipality, on Klevų al. near No. 26, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW X5 and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.57‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
