On Thursday, 4 May 2023, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Jakų village, on Jubiliejaus street near No. 24, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Ducato and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Fiat (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.23‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
