On Friday, 19 May 2023, in the evening at 19:45, in Panevėžio district municipality, Liubičiaus village, on the Krekenava–Skėmai–Grinkiškis regional road (kilometre 6), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the Toyota (27 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
