On Sunday, 14 May 2023, in the afternoon at 16:40, in Kauno district municipality, Čekiškės town, on L. Markelio street, an Audi rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.80‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
