Drunk Chevrolet driver runs off the road on the Daugpilis–Rokiškis–Panevėžys road
On Wednesday, 7 June 2023, in the afternoon at 15:59, in Kupiškio district municipality, on the Daugpilis–Rokiškis–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 75.75), a Chevrolet CD registered in Sweden ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Chevrolet (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.73‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
