On Sunday, 18 June 2023, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vaišvydava–Piliuona–Pakuonis–Pabališkiai regional road (kilometre 3.80), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane.
