On Monday, 26 June 2023, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Anykščių district municipality, on Žiburio street near No. 9, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Almera Tino and a Ford Galaxy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Nissan, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.35‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
