On Sunday, 9 July 2023, in the evening at around 17:00, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 3, a e-scooter hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of a e-scooter, who failed to comply with road signs or markings. The driver was sober.
