On Tuesday, 25 July 2023, in the afternoon at 13:50, in Prienų district municipality, on the Kaunas–Prienai–Alytus national road (kilometre 36.40), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW, a Scania, a Koegel, an Opel Astra and a Volvo.
