On Saturday, 29 July 2023, in the evening at around 20:00, in Telšių district municipality, on the Viešvėnai–Luokė–Upyna–Dirvonėnai regional road (kilometre 8), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Hyundai i 30 and a Volkswagen Touran. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Hyundai (6 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober.
