On Friday, 18 August 2023, in the morning at around 9:00, in Anykščių district municipality, on Gegužės street near No. 27, a TYM hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 35-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the TYM, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
