On Wednesday, 23 August 2023, in the evening at around 18:00, in Skuodo district municipality, on the Kretinga–Skuodas national road (kilometre 38.15), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz, a Buick Regal and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
