On Sunday, 27 August 2023, in the afternoon at 13:33, in Šilalės district municipality, Kvėdarnos town, on Žalioji street near No. 3, a Subaru hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Subaru, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.15‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
