On Tuesday, 29 August 2023, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Telšių district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Scenic and an Opel Insignia Sports Tourer SW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 79-year-old driver of the Renault (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
