On Saturday, 9 September 2023, at night at 1:45, in Vilnius, on Liepkalnio street, at the junction with Sodybų street, a BMW registered in France hit an obstacle. One person died — the 41-year-old driver of the BMW (later died from the injuries). The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed.
